Herb Garden Yoga
Enjoy the sweet smells of sage, lavender, and rosemary as you join us for a beginner/intermediate Vinyasa/Hatha yoga class in the herb garden. The herb garden overlooks the Saanich Inlet and a beautiful valley surrounded by farms. Relax while taking in the scents, the sight and the sounds of the birds chirping in the trees. Following the class, you are welcome to stay to explore the herbs gardens, take photos, and enjoy the incredible views of the valley, mountains and Saanich Peninsula.
Every Saturday during July and August at 2pm.
1-hour yoga class and 15 minutes to explore the herb garden at the end of class.
Farm Animal Yoga
Join us for a 1-hour yoga class in the goat pasture. Enjoy a gentle Vinyasa class while surrounded by our seven beautiful goats grazing in the pasture and our two gentle, fluffy livestock guardian dogs. Following the class you are welcome to stay to pet the goats and dogs, take some photos, and explore the animal pasture area at the farm.
Every Tuesday during July and August at 6:30pm.
Included: 1-hour yoga class and 15minutes to hang out with our goats and two gentle livestock guardian dogs at the end of the class.
Bring Your Kids to Farm Animal Yoga
A fun and engaging 45-minute yoga class designed for the whole family. Bring your kids with you to do yoga in the goat pasture. This class includes opportunities to do partner yoga poses with your kids, animal yoga poses, and capture moments of stillness and mindfulness all while being surrounded by our seven beautiful goats grazing in the pasture and our two gentle, fluffy livestock guardian dogs. Following the class you are welcome to pet the goats and dogs and explore the animal pasture area at the farm.
Kids (12 and under) - $10 .
Adults - $20
Every Saturday during July and August at 10am.
Included: 45-minute yoga class and 30 minutes to hang out with our goats and two gentle livestock guardian dogs at the end of the class.
Our Yoga Instructor
Gaby Emmett began practicing yoga over 10 years ago and with it found greater connection to herself and to the world around her. With a background in child and youth care, adaptive recreation and outdoor education, Gaby combines her love of yoga, working with people, and being in nature in all of her yoga classes. Gaby completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at the Brahmanda School of Yoga in Victoria. She is trained to teach Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, and Trauma Sensitive Yoga. Her classes invite students to find deeper connection to the self and to the natural world. Gaby is passionate about bringing community together and helping others find stillness and connection in their busy lives. With experience teaching children, youth, and adults, Gaby easily adapts her yoga classes to the individual needs of the students in each of her classes and creates an open and inviting space to practice in.
