Ravenhill Herb Farm is a locally-owned permaculture-based farm overlooking the Saanich Inlet of the Salish Sea. As stewards of this 10-acre west coast oasis, we are dedicated to growing food using regenerative and sustainable methods that benefit both the land and quality what we grow for our family and community. We enjoy sharing our knowledge of sustainable growing, natural animal care, and holistic practices through educational programs and tours.

The season has arrived for harvesting one of my favourite herbs. I steep dried chamomile flowers for tea nearly every night before bed 💚
Leek season is upon us. You can also see what I call “leek babies” which grow off of the primary stalk. The babies will be placed back in the soil this fall. You can find our leeks in the farmstand now.
The babes are growing fast! Climbing anything and jumping off seems to be the prominent pastime.
I get pulled to post a picture of at least one of our iris’s each year. Nature. It’s beyond words.
Teenagers. Safety in numbers. They absolutely love this perch.
