Looking to vacation near Victoria on stunning Vancouver Island with a legendary, ocean view herb farm at your doorstep? The 2nd story Raven’s Nest vacation suite at Ravenhill Herb Farm will feel like your home away from home.

The Suite
This fully-renovated and furnished, 1400 square-foot suite features:

- 2 large bedrooms w/ cozy queen-sized beds (1 with an ensuite bathroom).
- 1 queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room.
- 2 bathrooms with soaker tub/shower and Italian floor tiles
- An office/den (can also serve as a nursery)
- A spacious kitchen and living area with new appliances
- Private entrance (stair access only)

Beautiful fir and cedar ceilings and hardwood fir floors throughout add wonderful character, as do stunning valley, mountain, and farm views from every window. Furnishings include 2 queen beds, sectional couch, a fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, large fir kitchen island, and much more. The suite includes a washer and dryer, 2 televisions, and wifi.

Location
The suite is located on the storied 10-acre Ravenhill Herb Farm in Central Saanich, providing access to outdoor space, including expansive gardens and orchards, a swimming pond, and old growth trees. The farm offers spectacular ocean, valley, and snowcapped mountain views and has 2-minute walking access to trails leading to John Dean Park and Butterfield Park where you can explore endless trails and stunning ocean views.

Ravenhill Herb Farm is only a 2-minute drive to Saanichton, 3 minutes to the ocean, 5 minutes to Brentwood Bay, 9 minutes to Sydney, 12 minutes to the airport, and 16-22 minutes to downtown Victoria.

Animals
Farm animals include affectionate goats, chickens, a loveable livestock guardian dog, and a barn cat. Because of the existing animals, no pets are allowed.

Note
The exterior of the house is midway through a renovation. Although there is no current work underway, until the exterior is completed, it does not match the beauty of the interior.

Kitchen/Living Area

Spacious kitchen with large and select small appliances, cutlery, and dishes. Reclaimed fir kitchen-island with eating counter and lots of storage.

Master Bedroom

The huge master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, queen bed, reading area with 2 chairs, and a large TV.

Second Bedroom

This large bedroom has queen bed, clothing storage, and attached office/den with a door for privacy. Original wood doors lead to the living room.

Bathrooms

Both bathrooms feature soaker tub/shower, storage, and beautiful tiles.

Workspace

The office overlooks old growth fir trees, herbal gardens, and the animal pasture where goats and dogs roam.

The season has arrived for harvesting one of my favourite herbs. I steep dried chamomile flowers for tea nearly every night before bed 💚
Leek season is upon us. You can also see what I call “leek babies” which grow off of the primary stalk. The babies will be placed back in the soil this fall. You can find our leeks in the farmstand now.
The babes are growing fast! Climbing anything and jumping off seems to be the prominent pastime.
I get pulled to post a picture of at least one of our iris’s each year. Nature. It’s beyond words.
Teenagers. Safety in numbers. They absolutely love this perch.
