The Suite
This fully-renovated and furnished studio suite features:

- a spacious living room with Italian tiled fireplace and electric log set
- a Restoration Hardware queen sleeper sofa in the living room (this is a memory foam bed that is easy to convert and extremely comfortable)
- 1 bathroom with small bathtub/shower
- An office nook (with handmade reclaimed fir desk and shelves, wifi, and ethernet)
- An equipped kitchenette with new appliances (toaster oven, conduction burner, blender, coffee maker, tea kettle, refrigerator/freezer)
- Private balcony
- Private entrance with french doors

The living room features beautiful wood plank ceilings and early 20th century hardwood floors with a cozy electric fireplace, antique wardrobe, and an office nook of reclaimed fir. French doors lead to a private patio and sitting area sheltered by a giant arbutus and cedar trees yet still providing stunning valley and mountain views.

The comfortable kitchen/dining room has tile floors, expandable dining table, a retro refrigerator, and plenty of appliances and dishware for your enjoyable culinary experience.

The living room is also the sleeping area with an easy-to-convert antique leather queen sleeper sofa from Restoration Hardware with an incredibly comfortable memory foam mattress.

Location
The suite is located on the storied 10-acre Ravenhill Herb Farm in Central Saanich, providing access to outdoor space, including expansive gardens and orchards, a swimming pond, and old growth trees. The farm offers spectacular ocean, valley, and snowcapped mountain views and has 2-minute walking access to trails leading to John Dean Park and Butterfield Park where you can explore endless trails and stunning ocean views.

Ravenhill Herb Farm is only a 2-minute drive to Saanichton, 3 minutes to the ocean, 5 minutes to Brentwood Bay, 9 minutes to Sydney, 12 minutes to the airport, and 16-22 minutes to downtown Victoria.

Animals
Farm animals include affectionate goats, chickens, a loveable livestock guardian dog, and a barn cat. Because of the existing animals, no pets are allowed.

Low Season (November - April) - $125/night
High Season (May-October) - $175/night*

*discounts apply when staying 5 nights or more. Please note there is an $85 cleaning fee.

Note
The exterior of the house is midway through a renovation. Although there is no current work underway, until the exterior is completed, it does not match the beauty of the interior.

The season has arrived for harvesting one of my favourite herbs. I steep dried chamomile flowers for tea nearly every night before bed 💚
Leek season is upon us. You can also see what I call “leek babies” which grow off of the primary stalk. The babies will be placed back in the soil this fall. You can find our leeks in the farmstand now.
The babes are growing fast! Climbing anything and jumping off seems to be the prominent pastime.
I get pulled to post a picture of at least one of our iris’s each year. Nature. It’s beyond words.
